Poultry Health Course
4 hour practical hands-on course to help the poultry keeper identify, prevent & treat common poultry problems.
Poultry handling course
A 3 hour practical handling course for prospective chicken keepers. Handle chicks, hens and a cockerel confidently, and learn how to give a bird a physical health check.
Hatch, Match & Dispatch
A 4 hour practical course on breeding, hatching & humane dispatch of poultry. This is a practical course.
Introduction to duck keeping
This new enjoyable 3 hour course combines practical hands-on sessions with some classroom work. Thinking about ducks, but not sure? This course is a must.
Introduction to Beekeeping
A 4 hour course to introduce the subject, the equipment required, the costs and the rewards.
Lambing Practical Course : Full Day
A mix of theory and practice. This full day course will hopefully allow the complete beginner plenty of hands-on lambing experience. Max number 4.
Sheep/Lamb Keeping for New Smallholders Course : Full Day
A full day course. Not sure if sheep/lambs are a good idea? Everything you need to know about keeping a small amount of sheep. Includes practical handling, hoof trimming etc.
Introduction to Smallholding Course : Full Day
A full day covering buying a smallholding, legislation, animals, making money, lifestyle changes. This course will let you see what its really like, warts and all!
Introduction to Welding Course
A full day course covering H&S, equipment and teaching the skills to allow you to weld by the end of the day. Max number 2.
Chainsaw Maintenance Course
A 4 hour course covering H&S and everything you need to know to service and maintain your petrol chainsaw. This is not a chainsaw instruction course.
Garden Machinery Maintenance Course
Llawnmowers, strimmers, ride on mowers etc. How to service your garden machinery and effect small repairs. Save yourself money and learn to do it yourself.
Trailer Handling Course
This 3 hour course is aimed at the person who has a trailer entitlement on their license, but who needs practical tuition in how to hitch up and manoever a trailer confidently. One to one tuition so no stress! Ask for details.
Trailer Maintenance Course : Two Days
A two day course covering legislation, wheels, running gear, brakes, lights etc. Everything you need to know to competently service your trailer. Max number 4. A mix of classroom work and practical exercises. You can bring your own trailer by arrangement.
